Honey Glazed Salmon

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon filets (about 6 ounces each)

  • Kinder’s “The Blend”

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tbsp garlic paste

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 2 tsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Salmon:

    • Season the salmon fillets with Kinder’s “The Blend” on both sides.

  2. Make the Honey Glaze:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce and lemon juice. Set aside.

  3. Cook the Salmon:

    • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon is mostly cooked through.

    • Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

  4. Make the Glaze:

    • In the same skillet, add butter and garlic paste and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    • Pour the honey glaze mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.

  5. Glaze the Salmon:

    • Return the salmon fillets to the skillet and spoon the glaze over the top, allowing the salmon to cook in the glaze for about 1-2 minutes.

  6. Serve:

    • Transfer the honey glazed salmon to serving plates.

    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Tips:

  • Serve the honey glazed salmon with a side of sautéed brussel sprouts, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
