Honey Glazed Salmon
Ingredients:
4 salmon filets (about 6 ounces each)
Kinder’s “The Blend”
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tbsp garlic paste
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
Prepare the Salmon:
Season the salmon fillets with Kinder’s “The Blend” on both sides.
Make the Honey Glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce and lemon juice. Set aside.
Cook the Salmon:
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy and the salmon is mostly cooked through.
Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the salmon is cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Glaze:
In the same skillet, add butter and garlic paste and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour the honey glaze mixture into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Glaze the Salmon:
Return the salmon fillets to the skillet and spoon the glaze over the top, allowing the salmon to cook in the glaze for about 1-2 minutes.
Serve:
Transfer the honey glazed salmon to serving plates.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Tips:
Serve the honey glazed salmon with a side of sautéed brussel sprouts, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
