1 tsp garlic powder

Salt to taste

2 tbsp oil

The Creamy Sauce:

1 tsp garlic paste

2 tsp oil

1 tsp butter

2 tbsp chopped sun dried tomatoes

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 cups heavy cream

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp red pepper flakes

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Handful spinach

½ cup parmesan cheese

Ingredients

For the Salmon:

  • 4 skinless salmon fillets

  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt, to taste

  • 2 tbsp oil

For the Creamy Sauce:

  • 1 diced onion

  • 1 tsp garlic paste

  • 2 tsp oil

  • 1 tsp butter

  • A handful of chopped dried tomatoes

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 2 cups of heavy cream

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp chili flakes

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • A handful of spinach

  • Grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Cooking the Salmon:

Season salmon then heat oil in a non stick frying pan over medium heat. Place salmon in the frying pan and cook for about 3 mins, flip and cook the other side for 2 more mins or till salmon is cooked through. Remove it from heat and set aside

Creating the Creamy Sauce:

Base Flavors: In the same pan that was used to cook salmon add butter and then sauté onion and garlic for 2 mins, add sundried tomatoes and chicken broth then let it simmer for a couple of minutes. Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper, red pepper flakes and simmer for about 3-4 more mins on medium heat or till sauce thickens. Mix in cheese, let it melt, then add spinach and stir until it’s wilted.

Put the salmon back in the sauce and that’s it.

Serving:

This versatile dish can be served with a side of mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice, depending on your preference. The creamy sauce makes a perfect compliment to whichever side you choose, making each forkful a delightful blend of flavors and textures.
